I was born in Lisbon, Portugal, but my childhood took me on an incredible adventure to Dubai, U.A.E. Growing up in such a vibrant, multicultural environment gave me a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives and opportunities.

While completing my studies and earning my MBA in Marketing, I began a corporate career working with global brands like InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Chanel, L’Oréal, Nivea, Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge.

For over a decade, I thrived in fast-paced environments, honing my skills in strategy, branding, and communication. Living in Dubai and traveling the world, I was fortunate to enjoy countless adventures, experiencing the richness of different cultures and perspectives.

As an adventurous young woman who believed she had found her perfect life partner, life felt perfectly on track, filled with dreams of an exciting and fun-filled family future.

But everything changed in January 2010. During a holiday back in Portugal, my youngest daughter was born with cerebral palsy due to a complicated birth, and shortly after, my marriage ended in divorce, leaving my world turned upside down.

I faced an uncertain future as a single mom of two, including one with special needs who required full-time care. The adventurous, fun-filled family life I had envisioned disappeared, and I had to figure out how to build something new, something that worked for me and my daughters.

I still remember sitting at my kitchen table late at night, crying alone, overwhelmed by my new reality and wondering how to make it all work. I started by balancing life and work as a professional newborn and maternity photographer while my daughters were at school.

Being my own boss meant I could control my agenda and be there for my youngest daughter’s therapies and doctor’s appointments too. But as she grew older and needed more care, I realized I needed a different path, one that allowed me to work from home and be there for her.

That’s when I discovered the power of online businesses.

I knew it wouldn't be easy, but it was the spark I needed to start rebuilding, this time, from home. Life gave me no choice but to adapt, and in doing so, I redefined adventure and fun. It was no longer about traveling the globe, conquering rugged landscapes, or chasing bold aspirations.

Now, adventure and fun mean building a stable and secure life, ensuring I have the tools and resources to care for my daughter’s special needs, and uncovering a deeper sense of purpose each day.

As I started working from home, I realized my corporate marketing skills and years of entrepreneurial experience could help others create something meaningful without breaking the bank.

I stepped into the world of marketing tech, diving into digital tools and systems while working around my daughter’s needs.
